Mission

Our mission is to help individuals facing mental health and addiction challenges, along with addressing food insecurity, homelessness, and to promote higher education, across the Niagara Region.

The Hyde Foundation is a community-focused charitable organization committed to helping individuals struggling with mental health and addiction. Our goal is to create a pathway to healing, stability, and purpose—free of charge and without judgment.

100% Donor-Funded.

Our foundation is run entirely by volunteers, ensuring that 100% of every donation goes directly to helping those in need. No overhead. No salaries. Just genuine support.

Support for Women

While our residential recovery program is currently open to men only, The Hyde Foundation is committed to helping women. We provide tailored support services, counseling connections, and referrals through our network of community partners.

Support for Men

Through our partnership with the Lakeshore Recovery Clinic we offer a 4-week residential recovery program at no cost. After completing the program, participants will be offered a 90-day paid employment opportunity.

Program Benefits at a Glance

  • Free 4-week recovery program at Lakeshore Recovery Clinic in Port Dalhousie
  • 90-day paid employment with Hyde’s Distribution or Falls Wholesale Ltd.
  • Career placement support after the transitional work period
  • Education funding for retraining or schooling needs

  • Food product distribution to over 30 organizations across the Niagara Region
  • Full wage support for employees with serious health issues (up to 2 years)
  • Over 25 years of community commitment from the Hyde family
  • 100% of donations go directly to program participants—no administrative costs
